Frequently asked questions.

What should I wear?

We’re embracing a tropical theme - think bright summer colors and festive vibes! We’d love to see your most colorful summer dresses and tropical button-down dress shirts.

No suits and ties required (but totally welcome!). Semi-formal and/or cocktail attire examples can be found here.

Kindly avoid: jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tuxedos, or formal gowns.

Is this a traditional wedding?

Nope! This is a party meant to celebrate our marriage! There is no ceremony - this is just a fun reception style celebration!

Do I need to know anything about shuffleboard?

The most important rule is DO NOT WALK ON THE COURTS! The skilled and amazing Royal Palms’ team will give shuffleboard lessons to interested guests.

When did you guys get married?

We’re excited to share that we’ll be saying our “I dos” just a week before the party, in a private ceremony surrounded by our closest friends and family.

Can i bring my Kids?

We ask that you leave the little ones at home.

Although we wish we could include everyone, your invite and RSVP will reflect the invited guests. Please note that there will be hard and fast-moving shuffleboard discs, very explicit songs and very drunk adults. Exceptions will only be made for nursing mothers.

Can i bring My new partner?

Let us know if someone special has entered your life and we’ll do our best to accomodate their invite.

Are you feeding us?

Absolutely! We'll have a casual buffet dinner service, so you can help yourself throughout the evening. There will be plenty of options for vegans and gluten-free guests, ensuring everyone can find something delicious to enjoy. Feel free to graze all night long!

What’s the drinking situation?

Obvi drinks are on us! We’re covering beer, wine, liquor options and non-alcoholic drinks. Shots are not included, but available for purchase. I’m sorry… but we just can’t trust our friends with unlimited shot taking.

What are we Celebrating?

US, DUH! But also do us a favor and say Happy Birthday to Erica (Taylor’s cousin) and to Aubry (our friend). We’re having our wedding on their birthday… so let’s celebrate them too!

Where’s the after party?

Trick question… there isn’t one. Let’s see where the night takes us.

How do we send a gift?

We appreciate your generosity! We have a small registry and future fund linked on the registry section of the website.

Parking?

It’s New York, don’t drive if you can avoid it. For those who must, there is street parking and a nearby parking lot (link here). Get a hotel, drink your sorrows away and party with us responsibly!
